  I have been using this public house now for at least 30 years and I can honestly state the landlord and landlady are the most welcoming hosts I have had the pleasure to meet. Since the new renovations the atmosphere has changed to what I would class as a family vibe the Beer is good and the prices are better than competitive. Beats Weatherspoons hands down

  Fantastic pub- its great to have a lovely local pub again. Please don't judge this place on it's past, it really has changed. Smart and clean inside, all the staff are welcoming and friendly. The place has a lovely warm atmosphere, dog friendly too! There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this pub, and a big shout out to the landlady- Ellie, she really is doing an amazing job.

  Went on opening night and it was a very friendly environment with cheap drinks.
