  Terrible service and management no one to answer the phone especially in the pharmacy which can be quite urgent and critical the only option you dial and actually get a response for is for colleague staff personel any other option no one answers feels like this a deliberate setup absolutely disgusting behaviour very disgraceful for an established supermarket pathetic and hypocritical overall conduct from the business

  Formal Complaint Regarding Customer Service at Tesco I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable service I experienced at your store. The store’s advertised closing time is 12:00 am. My friend and I entered the store before midnight (approximately 11:30 pm), along with several other customers who were already shopping. We completed our shopping, only to be told by the manager, Steve, that we would not be served at the tills because it was now 12:00 am. I find this completely unacceptable. Customers who enter the store before the advertised closing time should reasonably expect to be able to complete their shopping and pay for their items. If the intention is to stop serving customers at 12:00 am regardless of when they entered, this should be made clear before they begin shopping. I have never experienced this at any other supermarket, including Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, or Asda. In my experience, staff will stop allowing new customers into the store close to closing time, but they will always serve those who were already inside before the doors closed. This was the first time I have ever experienced being refused service after already spending time shopping. I fully understand and accept that staff may stop admitting new customers shortly before closing. However, refusing to serve customers who were already in the store before closing is unreasonable and, in my opinion, reflects very poor customer service. It gave the impression that staff simply wanted to finish work early rather than provide the level of service customers should expect. I would appreciate an explanation of whether this is Tesco’s official policy or whether this incident was handled incorrectly by the store management. I also hope this matter is addressed to ensure other customers do not experience the same treatment in the future. I look forward to your response.

  The worst experience I have ever had. Went in 23:30 tried to check out on closing time. They said I can’t check out. What a bad Tescos. I didn’t enter the store after closing time but before. You should let customers inside the shop check out even after closing time if the customers have entered the shop. It wasn’t just me there was 4 other people with the same issue. Worst Tesco in the country. Steve worst ever manager. He has no logic whatsoever. They can’t even streamline things when you have got money to pay. What a disgrace.
