  I visited this Tesco store after work today (11 June 2026) to buy a can of Red Bull. I am 28 years old, so there is no age restriction for purchasing this product. I was wearing my work uniform, and the staff member refused to sell it to me without giving a clear reason. What made the situation worse was the way I was spoken to — the staff member was rude and very disrespectful , and didn’t explain why they were refusing the sale. I understand staff may follow procedures, but there was no justification here, and the attitude was completely unacceptable. I shop here regularly, but this experience has left me very disappointed. I expect better customer service and clearer communication from staff when making decisions.

  A person called Racheal would not serve me a redbull, whilst I’m in my care assistant work uniform. I am 26 and look way over 23. I felt like I’m being treated very unfairly! I’ve shown my car keys as well as personal licence and still didn’t serve me. Very frustrating! I mean, I am flattered but currently at work in 25 degrees redbull would be nice. Could it be because I’m foreign

  My friend tried to buy a redbull and showed her provisional license and still didn’t get served because I had no ID on me even though she was buying it for herself. I find that absolutely ridiculous and outrageous because that is not fair. One of the reasons the woman gave us who served us was that it “wasn’t worth her job”. Not worth her job over a redbull that my friend had ID for? Ridiculous. She also said next time I should bring my passport, who in the hell brings their passport to a Tesco local because I certainly don’t. All this over a redbull aswell btw, it’s not going to kill me and I’m 18 years old next month. The woman who served us had grey hair and a bob.

  tried buying a 1 redbull for myself and brought ID to prove my age, got told I can’t buy it for myself by an older women since the person I was with didn’t bring hers. Thought it was a stupid rule as my friend had already bought what she wanted and was waiting for me.
