  I had a great shopping experience at Tesco Evington Superstore. The store was clean, well-organised, and had a wide range of products available. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the checkout process was quick and smooth. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant place for my main shopping. Highly recommended!

  Unfortunately, my experience at this Tesco has been very disappointing. One particular member of staff, I think her name was hero or something has repeatedly come across as rude, overly suspicious and unnecessarily confrontational towards customers. I have also witnessed what felt like ageist treatment, including questioning whether customers actually had the money to pay for their purchases. There is nothing wrong with being vigilant, but the way customers are spoken to matters. The behaviour I experienced felt excessive and made what should be a straightforward shopping trip unnecessarily uncomfortable. I hope Tesco looks into this, as customers should be treated with basic respect and professionalism regardless of their age or appearance.

  I wouldn’t even call this a superstore. Barely bigger than a Tesco express with the prices to match. Probably the most impolite Tesco staff I have ever come across. I actually left and went to Lidl. I would not go back there if you paid me. From being accosted at the door by a begger and the staff it was not a nice experience at all.

  I would have given the new layout and stock upgrade five stars but I saw the manager throw water on some men outside the shop today. I appreciate that the constant presence of people asking for money outside the shops at Ethel Road is no doubt annoying but they weren't harassing anyone at the time the water was thrown. They were loud but only chatting to each other, they weren't blocking the entrance and were not aggressive even after the water was thrown - they were just rightly upset and angry. The security guard was watching from the lobby and felt no need to intervene and was NOT involved in throwing water. If the men are a problem - report it to the police, don't assault them. I have reported the incident both to Tesco and the police, it's no way for any staff member to behave.

  Easy walk or quick pop in from leicetser general hospital. Couple of few store as well.easy parking.
