Had roast beef dinner - was lovely. Gravy was gorgeous. Service was great once we were sat, an eager front of house staff told us they aren't taking walk ins, but one member was already looking see if we could be accomadted. We were just about to leave and the manager said they would arrange us a table. Service was great.

Wow, what a superb country pub, great selection of beers and top quality food. Have enjoyed the steak & ale pie, the steak puddings & sweets (yes, I was full after each visit). A shame that from Apr '26, Punch Taverns take over, fingers crossed the chef stays on.
