Well done craig and punch taverns, the pub is now a dirty hole with awful and smelly toilets that you csn smell all over the pub, then you have the cheek to charge big prices for poor beer, flagship pub is absolute bull. Management need sorting out from the top down. Boycot the place the high street has far better places

Classic pub style. Erin served me on a hot day when it was busy outside. Perfect service. Food was perfect bar steak being a little over cooked, could be that I spoke too fast, or my stupid London accent. Will definitely go back. Recommend. Expensive but only because I drink a bottle of wine to myself.

I like this place but when the staff would rather chat to their mates while they're serving you is really poor

We came here for Sunday dinner after seeing how busy it gets, so we assumed it would be good.
The food was lovely, fresh and good quality. We had the roast beef and the trout with king prawns. There were a few small gripes like the roast potatoes being quite hard, but overall the food was well worth the visit.
The prices were quite reasonable given the location. A pint of Birra Moretti was a little over £5.
What let it down for us was the atmosphere and service. There was no music in the dining room which made us feel like we had to whisper. I asked the staff to turn the music on in the dining area so it wasn’t as quiet and awkward. Unfortunately we only got to listen to the second half of Michael Jackson’s off the wall before it was turned off again. The food took a little longer than we’d have liked, especially since our booking was only at 4:30pm. It was 5:10pm before we received our starters and that was after asking the waitress to chase it up for us. The service in general was what let the experience down for us. No one came to ask how the meal was, and busyness wasn’t even an excuse for this as it was quiet.
My partner used the ladies toilets which weren’t in a good state. Clearly in need of a clean, so she ended up using the disabled toilet which was even worse and stunk of dirty nappy.
Overall we would not be in a rush to return. We are really unsure why the pub is always so busy when we go past as our visit was nothing to rave about
