- CBCarole BarkerMay 28, 20263.0Booked a table for 5 people. It was a sunny day so we asked if we could sit outside. This was not table service but that was fine. On ordering at the bar, we were told of the many items on the menu was not available that we were trying to order. Eventually three of us ordered the trout. When this came it looked lovely, however we believe it was actually salmon. No staff member came to see how our meals were. When they came to collect our plates, I asked about the salmon and was told that it is very similar to trout and it was definitely salmon. It was not trout. While I was sat with my friends, I received an email saying that I had not honoured my booking. Then got an email stating that the table had been cancelled. Again I mentioned this to a member of staff incase there was a charge for not attending. He was not very helpful. Overall, service was not very good. Good was nice but not our first choices, very little to choose from. We understand that it was hot and could have been due to the heat but no explanation was given as to why there were so many options missing from the menu. We will not be going again
