My wife and I called in for Sunday lunch .My wife chose Pork Roast I had Ham hock.Music in background was at a comfortable level.The bit of a wait was worth it.Both meals were delicious, ham and pork cooked perfect.No room for a pudding.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Traditional Pub – Highly Recommended! The Pied Bull in Newton-le-Willows is a fantastic traditional pub with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of character. A great place to relax, enjoy a drink and spend time with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the pub has that genuine, warm hospitality which makes you want to return. A real credit to Newton-le-Willows and thoroughly deserving of five stars. Highly recommended!

Lovely place but we came in as a large party (pre ordered food) yesterday, and 3 of us were served raw chicken burgers. They were all pink. They did bring us beef burgers as replacements which were fine, but I was quite shocked that they charged us full price for the meals when 3 of them had to be taken away due to being raw & the wait time for the new meals were quite long - I just think most places would have made some kind of goodwill gesture to apologise for the potential health hazard. Bit cheeky really.
