Food lived up to the reputation but the real ales didn't, the member of staff wasn't helpful when I returned a pint of Timothy Taylors landlord and questioned why I returned it, it was flat and didn't taste right, only 3 hand pulls 2 landlord with 1 not in service so had to try boddingtons which was just about drinkable.
We won't be returning

My son, partner and myself all Went to the boathouse last Sunday for some food.
With the sun shining It was a very busy with people in the beer garden having a drink as well as other people also eating and ordering food. But still our starters were on the table in good time from taking our orders and our mains also followed in great time. The food was delicious and was reasonably priced but what really made it a great afternoon was the 1st class service we recived from Jake, Lil,Katie and the all rest of the staff was absolutely fantastic including the kitchen staff who most of the time dont get the credit they deserve on these type of reviews. We Will definitely be calling in again soon
