  It's a express unit, so reduced variations of products and prices are higher, but for a Quick shopping is ok.

  I am writing this immediately after coming back from Tesco and I am absolutely furious. I am a regular customer and usually stop by in the mornings to grab a couple of meal deals. What happened today was beyond disappointing and genuinely infuriating. I was asked for ID when buying two cans of Monster, which in itself is perfectly fine. I have no issue with being ID’d. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my ID on me. However, what completely pushed me over the edge and really pissed me off was what happened right next to me. At the till beside mine, a schoolgirl was purchasing an item that also REQUIRED ID, and the same staff member ( the only woman with ginger hair) let her walk away without checking anything at all. I don’t make accusations like this lightly, but I have consistently noticed that this particular staff member is hostile towards me for no apparent reason. I have bought alcohol and other age-restricted products from her multiple times in the past, and she has always asked for my ID without exception. Again, I have no problem with that because obviously rules are rules. But those rules clearly only seem to apply selectively. Watching her let a white schoolgirl purchase an age-restricted item without even asking for ID, while refusing me, was shocking and deeply upsetting. The blatant double standard is impossible to ignore. I am extremely angry about this experience and seriously questioning the fairness and professionalism of the staff involved.
