  The latte was thoroughly mediocre-passable, but nothing more. The real disaster was the macaroni cheese, which cost around £7.50 and tasted like absolute desperation. It was blindingly obvious that this was just a microwaved ready meal; they had clearly just thrown extra cheese and a sad sprinkling of chives on top to try and hide it. Honestly, a premium Tesco ready meal Mac & cheese blows this out of the water. What I was served today was a gelatinous, bland mess that genuinely reminded me of canned macaroni cheese. To make matters worse, it was served with a slice of garlic bread that was only partially cooked.

  Just been to cafe for lunch. We had fish and chips. The fish batter was a thick soggy mess. It was as if it had been microwaved instead of fried. Very disapointed.

  Need to improve their hygiene standards! Ordered the iced mango drink and it had a fly in it, I took it back, and the member of staff started making me a new one, grabbing ice with her hands after touching her face then removed the smoothie from the blender with a straw touched all over by her hands again which she then placed in the glass, why would anyone want to use a straw that has been touched by someone else let alone touching all the ice. At the same time I ordered someone else was complaining about a hair in their food.

  The only place to go for a great value breakfast, we regularly visit the Tesco Cafe in Corby and always get good service and food. We kind of thought the cafe in the Bolton branch would be great and we were delighted we were correct
