Rude, Scottish, unhelpful, consistent. Can u guess who? Four words to describe the biggest complainer of an employee you could ever encounter.
The man is clearly in the wrong job and feels the world owes him something. Simple requests are met with a roll of the eyes, huff or a thinly veiled sarcastic comment.
Example; I asked a female member of staff if there were any prawn crackers in the back of the store, as none were on the shelf. She replied "no problem" and asked afore mentioned man to have a look in the back to which he shot back to her "the prawn crackers we are discontinuing?". This aggressive answer gave a very awkward feeling to the situation but the staff member asked again, only to be given the same answer, all the time I am stood watching and waiting, in disbelief, thinking "how has this miserable so and so still got a job". Eventually he hauled himself into the back and, would you believe it, found the crackers I was seeking. Success, but not without leaving a bitter taste in the mouth.
It is worth mentioning that the rest of the staff at this Tesco are extremely polite, helpful and somehow cheerful despite this one incredibly negative individual. Get rid of him, easily replaced, one bad apple spoils the batch.
