- KKKJSMar 11, 20261.0I have placed many orders in the past so the store knows me. I am a housebound pensioner living alone. To my dismay they sent 2 expensive seeded sourdough loaves today (11th March 26) costing £5.20 which go out of date tomorrow. I was furious, my instructions were to send only latest date food, this was ignored. I phoned the store to complain and the manager was rude and condescending saying they just pick what is on the shelves, this is not the first time they have done this. I am sick of them. I will think twice about shopping with them again they are useless, rude and unhelpful, my advise - avoid. I was ill after eating some other food they sent so avoided buying that again and now this? Not good enough, they were unwilling to rectify this by sending out a Deliveroo rider with replacements, I hate to see food wasted but I will not eat 2 loaves by tomorrow. They are gornmless and untrustworthy and a rip off. Not happy at all, an utter waste of time and money will think twice about shopping with them again. I have given them a lot of business too, no respect for that from them, this is abusing home delivery customers, palming them off with near out of date rubbish. AVOID
