  St Mildred's Best-One is hands down one of the friendliest local shops around. The customer service here is genuinely outstanding the staff are always welcoming, helpful and go out of their way to make sure you find what you need. What really stands out is the genuine care they show for customers. It's not just a quick transaction they take the time to help, offer suggestions and make everyone feel valued. You can tell they truly care about the local community and the people who come through the door. It's refreshing to see a shop that still prioritises kindness, respect and great service. Highly recommend supporting this fantastic local business!

  My favourite shop in town, the staff go above and beyond to help me with my questions and always very helpful with my nan and her zimmerframe as she struggles in most shops. Couldn’t praise them enough honestly

  This corner shop is an absolute gem. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and happy to help with anything you need, which makes every visit a pleasant experience. It’s the sort of place where you feel like a valued customer rather than just another face passing through. One of the highlights is their wine selection - surprisingly good quality for the price. You can easily find something enjoyable without spending much, which is a rare find for a small local shop. Overall, it’s a reliable, friendly spot that I’d happily recommend to anyone in the area.
