  Its a real shame the place does not look as good as this picture. The food was good but the place was ran down dirty, rubish everywhere outside .. such a shame humans leave their rubbish instead of placing it in the bins and the staff where doing their best but there where dirty tables everywhere. I no the place is shutting down but there is no need to let standards go .

  Queued for ages to get served. The food was disappointing and overpriced. We had refillable drinks but couldn't get them refilled as didn't want to wait 10 mins in a queue. The only positive was the staff were kind, it wasn't their fault there weren't enough of them to serve quickly enough.

  This restaurant belongs to the Premier inn group so we had our breakfasts here. We enjoyed the view of the river Medway as we had our food. The dishes were dirty. Staff were friendly. The chef couldn't cook porridge, it came out of the kitchen as a bowl of dry lumps. The place is closing down next month as are all Premier Inn eateries. Massive car park.

  We took a trip on the river from Maidstone & had lunch at the Malta Inn, I had fish & chips, the chips were warm & the fish inedible with rock hard batter. The many bottles of sauces lined up on the table inside were all empty, I asked a member of staff if there were any more and was told no, we were very disappointed. It was obvious the place was closing & the staff were loosing their jobs. I hope premier inn does better

  It gets two stars for the location and the kind gentleman behind the bar who at least gave us a jug of iced water. But here we are, Saturday in August, lovely hot day with a nice breeze and a dozen tables RIGHT on the river front but "we don't serve until 12" (not even soft drinks) So yeah, a bit disappointed 😔
