  Waited 45 mins for lunch snacks! Cheese souffle so small, split open and then half covered in mustard seed sauce not featured on menu description. Garlic ciabatta, on menu suggested came with aioli, queried this - no it is made with the garlic sauce which waitress did provide a pot ofwhen asked where it was. 3 pieces of Halloumi, covered in sliced chilli pepper and onions - £7.50! Refurbished, all clean, bit anaemic for a character pub. Might have purchased lunch deal but didn't get informed of it. Dressed side salad was good and crisp. Expensive and disappointing- discussed issues with staff who said they're just serving food according the company's plan. May revisit to see if could be better, as it is conveniently close to family.

  Disappointed, dirty lettuce with chicken schnitzel, chicken was slightly under cooked perhaps as it was quite thick, the fish and chips were not great as the fish was over cooked. Scampi was ok, not a great meal, pity.

  Lovely pub! The food was really delicious and good service! We really enjoyed our lunch and we will definitely go back!
