  Handy and reasonable but the self service lay out is awful. Also, today I needed an age checker and, after quite some time, as she approached I said thank you (i know they are stretched to the limit & was she was obviously stressed). Nothing. Once she'd done, another thank you from me. Nothing. Again, appreciate the workload, hence my clear politeness to hopefully alleviate some of that stress and show how appreciated she was. Sadly futile! Think I'll stick to the Mortimer St. one.

  Not friendly staff. I went to buy a Monstet energy drink. When a staff asked for ID she look at it and look at me wired like I were under age and it’s a fake ID. I’m 5.1 and In my 20s.” However she said needs another staff to accept on the self check out because her card was not working. Another staff came to me ask for ID. I said I already shown to the other Colleague and replied Yh I know. This is over a monster drinks. I felt like getting judged and they gone to far

  Tidy little shop has an atm located on the wall outside the shop and they have a Costa coffee machine inside the store if you need to top up your caffeine levels. They have two self scanning machines as well as staff behind the counter if you can't be bothered to do it yourself. Staff are generally very nice personally have never had an issue with anything. You can get fruit sandwiches soups bakery items cat and dod food ect.

  It's a pretty standard Tesco Express but it seems to have a very limited range compared to the other Herne Bay store. I normally visit in the evening and there are very few staff. I'm not going to tar them all with the same brush but the late shift like to chat to each other and will often continue talking whilst serving you.
