  I do feel sorry for these guys, this place used to be full of customers and had a great vibe before justeat came around. Nowadays it’s mostly empty, and basically sits as a walk-in kitchen. Portions used to be amazing too, used to fill your baguette right up, portions have halved in the past few years yet the prices increase. A stupid business model making bad decisions after bad decisions.

  As someone who eats gluten free I visit subway a lot because of their good range of gluten free options. Every other subway I have visited the staff are always friendly and polite so it was definitely a shock to see the rudeness and lack of professionalism of staff at the Herne Bay branch. Upon entrance, we were given dirty looks by two male staff members. I ignored this, as having worked in customer service myself I know the job can be demanding. I visited with a friend and she got the cookies, we paid and asked if they could heat them up as this has never been an issue at any other branch. I said to the man if he was unable to do this it’s no problem but he reluctantly agreed although he had a lot of attitude about it, as he snatched the cookie bag from me. He approached his colleague and went to the back room where we could hear them talking in their own language and from the sniggering and tone of voice it was clear they were talking badly about us. Furthermore, he intentionally burnt the cookies and smirked as he handed me the burnt cookies all melted together in the bag. This is by far the most disgusting service I have received in any fast food place and have not visited again since. I often visit the Canterbury, sturry road or Minster branches which all offer 10/10 service. I would suggest to avoid this branch unless you’re okay with less than acceptable customer service.

  Got gum on my shoe and trousers and won’t give free stuff to make up for it the lady is really rude
