  Exceeded our expectations. Wonderful service at lunch today by Michelle. She was very polite, helpful and smiley.. especially with our daughter who is a fussy eater!

  Booked yesterday to try the Sunday lunch today. How very disappointed we were! Meat -dry, tough, overcooked. Vegetables - more stalk than leaf and very undercooked. Crispy roasties - I've had crispier soup! Macaroni Cheese - watery, more cheese in a bag of Wotsits! Yorkshire's - very odd flavour and no seasoning. A couple at the next table had to sit and look at their food for 10 minutes under the heatlamps whilst the table staff discussed all of their medical problems. Somebody in the kitchen had to tell the table staff that it had been there for 10 minutes until eventually one of them brought it over. The customer wasn't happy that it had been sat there the whole time so the waitress said "I can heat it up for you".... When she returned to the service hatch, and in earshot of the customer, she then started criticising the customers attitude. A younger couple 4 tables away waited for nearly an hour for burger and chips and again for at least ten minutes their food was sat in the window waiting for pickup. I could perhaps have given a bit of leniency here if the place was busy, as would be expected for a Sunday lunchtime, but it was empty and now I understand why. Overall experience was quite bad and would definitely not recommend this venue for a nice Sunday lunch.

  Had breakfast here this morning. Booked a table in advance. When we arrived, we waited about 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, the lady said we only have one small table available which was squeezed in a very tight spot with the back of my chair touching someone else’s. There was literally only one person working front of house, this why the service was so bad. No cups for coffee, no plates for toast. Coffee machine out of milk! When the food arrived, about 45 minutes after ordering. The scrambled egg was watery, the sausages were undercooked and they had no ketchup, I had to get my own from my van. When we went to pay, I complained and wasn’t offered any discount. Very disappointed ☹️

  Appalling service. Turned us away twice when booking a table, said they couldn’t accommodate us due to being fully booked, but had plenty of seats and was hardly busy. A staff member was incredibly rude and sarcastic towards us when questioning why they couldn’t accommodate. Shocking.

  Asked for Medium Rare Steak Sampler - fillet was blue and cold - next table they served similar to a 6 year old - waiter was great - food was up there with worst I’ve experienced
