Positives: Shop looks good, with brand new fridges and brand new oversized aisle signs, after a whole summer of inconvenience trying to find stuff that isn't there. Negatives: Prices shot way up after this makeover, not just a few prices. Almost as if customers were now expected to pay for the new furniture. Clubcard offers on products are still more expensive than non-subscription prices on products from other shops. Not sure why I should have a choice of paying extra, and a choice of paying extra just for the privilege of giving you free consumer data. Most lately attempted to purchase toothbrush heads, clubcard half price suddenly did not exist at the till - asked refund and was explained that your clubcard price did not exist despite clearly displayed it on shelf. Shop layout has become confusing, I ended up not buying what I needed to buy so bought that in other shops instead. Trying to steer a full trolley while exiting is impossible, your exit is on a sideways slope and it's obvious everyone pushing a heavy trolley is struggling. Last but not least: your trolleys are all fitted with the funny one wheel that goes CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK - not great when your carpal tunnels are reminding you of their existence. TLDR: Higher prices gone further up with fake clubcard offers - inclusing clubcard offers that don;t exist at the till and staff offering zero explanation, can't find products having to pace the shop up and down with a misery trolley. Makeover fail, what a miserable experience all round.

Altijd de eerste en de laatste stop op een vakantie in Kent: nog even de specials inslaan. Vriendelijke staff, goede keuze.
