First time i have tried tesco cafe. 20 minute wait for 3 sausage baps. Service is non existent. Food is very basic for the price. Should have gone to wetherspoons for better and cheaper food. Will not return.

Lovely staff. Justin the manager is a lovely person and Abbey cooks beautifully and with care. Other members of staff are helpful and kind. They all do their very best to make it a good dining experience. I like the food. The only thing id say is sometimes they could do with more staff on as queues can build quickly. Sometimes you see only 2 members of staff are doing all the cooking from fresh and washing dishes, clearing tables, making drinks, serving at till restocking and helping customers..... However they always do their best for you.

Had the worst meal for a long time at Dover one today. The new chicken breast on two crumpets with streaky bacon. In reality it was two pieces the size of a nugget, burnt, almost black. One small rasher of streaky bacon, cut in half between the two cold crumpets. Not toasted. The only good thing was the chilli sauce. £8 for that! My friend had the loaded macaroni cheese which was dry. If we go again. Shall stick to the fish and chips! I'm told they used to employ a chef, now it just seems youngsters using a microwave to heat food up. It used to be really a really good cafe.
