He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made the whole experience even better. He's a real credit to the team and deserves some recognition for his excellent customer service.   Why cant I order in person, when I go out i want service in person, im sitting at the table and the lady waitress is like you order by phone, what? If I wanted to order by my phone , I would have stayed home. Stupid service from.her.

  We visited Wagamama Bluewater on Saturday evening and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. While the food itself was good, the service and overall organisation left a lot to be desired. After being seated fairly quickly, things seemed to go downhill. There appeared to be around six staff members, including what looked like a floor supervisor, standing together talking while customers were waiting for food and becoming visibly frustrated. The restaurant felt very disorganised, with staff frequently getting in each other’s way behind the counter and openly complaining about work. We had to ask three separate times for tap water and didn’t receive it until around 20 minutes later. When our food arrived, only my dish was brought out. My partner’s meal didn’t arrive for another 10–15 minutes and was served after I had already finished eating, which rather defeated the purpose of dining together. There were also several other issues that we witnessed throughout our visit. Tables were left uncleared for extended periods until one hardworking young member of staff stepped in to clean and serve customers. A couple’s food sat on the counter for over 15 minutes before being taken to the wrong table, returned, and then left again while staff tried to determine where it should go. My own order was incorrect and required amendment, resulting in a further wait for the missing items. Perhaps most surprisingly, while customers were waiting for food and service, some staff members behind the counter appeared to be joking around, including jumping towards one another so a colleague could catch them. Seeing this sort of behaviour while orders were delayed and tables remained uncleared did not give the impression that customer service was being taken seriously. It was clear that other customers were becoming frustrated too, with some waiting on basic items such as cutlery and ramen spoons. While I understand that accidents happen and restaurants can get busy, the overall impression was one of poor organisation and a lack of attention to customers. It’s a shame because the food was enjoyable, but the service experience was disappointing enough that it would make me think twice before returning.

  I love wagamama I could quite easily work mybway through their menu 😋😋. They have now added lunch boxes these are perfect for a lunchtime light meal ideal and again as always a taste sensation. Bao buns are also a must here no one makes Bao Buns like wagamama. I now have the wagamama app too which makes paying so much easier no hanging around pay and go perfect plus you get added rewards for using it.
