- ARA renee6 days ago1.0Manager isn’t what I’d call a decent person, more like a jobs worth. Bought a pack of 4 Leffe, walked only a few minutes from the shop and the cardboard split, dropping and smashing a bottle. Went back and explained the packaging was faulty, and the response was basically: “Once you leave, it’s not our problem.” Funny how selling damaged products is apparently acceptable, but replacing one faulty pack is too much for a company worth millions. If I worked there, I’d be more embarrassed than defensive. If you hate dealing with customers that much, maybe work somewhere else.

However after purchasing and showing my ID she didn’t hand over the pack to me and when I asked for it she said she already gave it to me and suggested I was lying and threatened to check cctv and that it will show I’ve hidden it. She then went to check and must’ve found out she wrongly accused me and stayed in the room and got another member of staff to give me the pack with no apology for waiting over 10 minutes

I used to attend this store semi regularly when passing but no longer. I went there about 5 to 10 minutes before closing time one time and was refused entry. I literally needed to pick up one or two things and be out quickly but they gave no reason, except for the guy on the front door, giving off the vibe of wanting to knock off early. If your opening hours are... to... I expect them to be that, the whole experience was misleading and unprofessional in my view. I have found this store unreliable and I did not like how I was treated by staff at the time.
