The Crown Inn is a Grade I listed pub in the village of Sarre, between Canterbury and Margate, dating from around 1500. It is also known as the Old Established Halfway House and the Cherry Brandy House, and still serves cherry brandy. Charles Dickens visited several times. Food is served every day, with a children's menu, and dogs are welcome in the large enclosed garden.
