  This Chipotle is located on a busy and popular street surrounded by restaurants and cafés, making it a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. The location is excellent, and the restaurant itself is spacious, modern, and very clean, with plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a clean and well-maintained customer bathroom. The biggest downside compared with other Chipotle locations is the staff training. I ordered a burrito with three tortillas, expecting the larger burrito that Chipotle normally prepares by laying the tortillas side by side. Instead, the employee simply stacked the three tortillas on top of each other and added the standard amount of fillings. The result was not a bigger burrito, just a normal sized one wrapped in three layers of tortilla. It was very disappointing, especially because I have seen the larger version prepared in other Chipotle restaurants, including other locations in London. I also ordered a large side of chips with guacamole. Thankfully, this was excellent. The portion of chips was huge, and the guacamole was incredibly generous. Chipotle's guacamole remains the best I've ever had, whether eaten with chips or inside a burrito. The food itself was, as always, fantastic. The burrito is a must order, and I highly recommend choosing half Carnitas and half Barbacoa as your protein combination. Adding cheese is also essential in my opinion. Unlike some other Chipotle locations in London, this branch offers self service fountain drinks with free refills, including CocaCola, Sprite, Fanta, Dr Pepper, several sugarfree options, and four different Agua Fresca flavours, all of which were very good, I suggest the watermelon mint one. The service was quick and efficient, but the poor burrito preparation was frustrating. It also was clearthat the employee used smaller portions because he wasn't confident wrapping a properly sized triple tortilla burrito. Despite this experience, I'm still giving this restaurant 4 stars because the food quality and the Chipotle concept remain outstanding. Chipotle is still my favourite fastfood chain, and I don't think one poorly trained employee should damage the reputation of an otherwise exceptional brand. I just hope the staff receive better training, because paying extra for a tripletortilla burrito and receiving a normal-sized burrito simply isn't acceptable.

  Some of the employees at this branch genuinely have the cheek to be stingy EVEN when you pay nearly £4 extra for a double portion of meat. It’s a DOUBLE PORTION, genius, not 2 anaemic scoops. Not to mention these lot love to shake off the excess few pieces of meat they may pick up when they accidentally scoop up a bit too much food for their liking, because how DARE the customer expect a good portion of food when they’re paying ALMOST £14 for what is frankly fast food. It seems at Chipotle Gloucester Road, giving the customer LESS value for money is key. The employees are horrendous, but the food is good and that’s why it’s 2 stars and not 1.
