  ​I am writing this to express my complete disappointment with the service I received today at the Spar Carrbridge. ​The lady behind the till was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. Despite my polite greeting, she offered no welcome and made me feel like a considerable inconvenience. ​Her attitude was dismissive and abrupt, particularly when discussing tobacco products. She seemed too quick to use the law as an excuse not to help, rather than provide professional service. This completely dampened my holiday mood. I would not recommend this store. If you don't like your job in customer service find someone more fitting! Respect and manners goes a long way!

  Fijn dat er een kleine Spar was. Ondanks het een kleine Spar is hebben ze een ruim assortiment. We hebben twee verschillende caissières gehad en waren beide vriendelijk! Prima mini supermarkt dus!!

  My visit to the Spar in Carrbridge was a completely unpleasant experience. The customer service I received was nothing short of appalling. The lady working there was incredibly rude and seemed to take no pride in her work or in providing a decent experience for customers. She seemed to think I was in the wrong for being in the shop. I was met with a dismissive and sour attitude from the moment I walked in. When I asked a simple question about paying on card, she responded with a sneer and a sarcastic tone, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Her rudeness was not just a one-off comment; it was a consistent and off-putting demeanor that ruined my entire interaction. A local convenience store should be a place where you feel welcomed, but this felt like the opposite. Her disrespectful behavior makes me question how this kind of service is acceptable. If you need groceries, I highly recommend you travel a bit further to the Co-op in Grantown-on-Spey, where you will receive excellent customer service. Perhaps the lady at the Spar could learn a thing or two from them. The Co-op is a well-stocked store with fresh produce, a stark contrast to the rotten, £1.75 lettuce I found at the Spar in Carrbridge. I will not be returning to this Spar and would advise others to do the same if they prefer to be treated with a basic level of decency and to buy food that isn't spoiled.

  Great little shop. Got a few supplies there yesterday and today. The lady today was super helpful with me trying to contact someone and even made a call regarding. Thank you. ;)

  I strongly suggest driving a few miles further to one of the friendly shops in any of the other nearby villages. The rude old battleaxe behind the counter in Spar appears to believe she's a Victorian headteacher. The post office staff couldn't have been nicer.
