  I’ve been visiting Five Guys in Watford for several years, and until now it’s always been somewhere I’ve enjoyed going for a treat. I have coeliac disease, which means I can’t eat gluten. Historically, Five Guys have been excellent at accommodating this. I’ve always ordered a burger in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, and the staff have been helpful and understanding about my dietary requirements. I’ve never had a problem. Unfortunately, tonight was a very different experience. I was served by a new manager who was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked for my usual lettuce wrap, he told me that because I had an allergy, he couldn’t serve me due to the possibility of cross-contamination. I explained that I’d been eating at Five Guys for years, understood and was comfortable with their procedures, and had never experienced a reaction to their food. Despite this, he flatly refused to serve me and was thoroughly unpleasant in the way he handled the situation. I completely understand that restaurants need to take food allergies and intolerances seriously, and I appreciate staff being transparent about the risks of cross-contamination. But there’s a big difference between explaining those risks professionally and simply refusing to serve a longstanding customer in such a rude and dismissive manner. It’s really disappointing. Five Guys used to be somewhere I looked forward to visiting, particularly because finding places that accommodate coeliac disease isn’t always easy. Sadly, after tonight’s experience, I no longer feel welcome and won’t be returning.

  I have had the Soda the machine has no ICE nether any of the flavor was working correctly. It seems like there was no care from staff regarding this. The FRISE was extra salty, even I haven't asked for salt. I couldn't eat it. I feel bad I like Five guys and I'm regularly costumer, but Watford five guys was a totally different experience for me :(
