  We were staying in the adjacent Premier Inn so had both our evening meal and breakfast in The Crows Nest. Food was great for pub grub. The service was faultless and the staff were fantastic. The restaurant is looking very tired and tatty but given the fact that it's probably closing soon and is for sale, I'm not surprised. It will be a shame to see it go if that's the case as it's been a local favourite for decades.

  What a ripoff. I know Beefeater is changing its business model in 6 weeks but you cant carry on trading in the meantime with no staff, no service and food that makes Mcdonalds look like aMichrlelin star restaurant while continuing to charge the same prices!. I paid £100 for 3 meals, no desert, drinks or starters.(because of the wait), sitting in the bar area (the restaurant areas was closed) with no table service and the food was abysmal. My advice is AVOID!

  Excellent value for money. Where else can you get a continental AND a fry with unlimited tea and coffee for £12?! Local people will miss this when it’s gone.

  All the staff was very friendly and helpful but Sunday roast worse I ever have. Dry out of taste even grave out of any taste. Definitely will not back again

  I was passing through Tring on my journey from Aylesbury to Ipswich and needed to find some dinner. What a spectacular find 🎉 The wings for the starter were fabulous, the mixed grill was cooked to perfection, the steak was perfectly medium rare unlike a lot of places where they are either boot leather over cooked or still mooing at you 🤣🤣🤣 The highlight of my meal was the chocolate orange bread and butter pudding, outstanding 🥳🥳🥳 The hostesses were attentive and very polite, the views from the garden were fantastic 🙌🤝🙏
