Ive just left this restaurant with my 3 children without paying, there was a huge argument between staff from the kitchen next to our table men could be heard from the restaurant area scream and shouting at each other. Despite the waitress telling them to stop the argument continued, it was an extremely volatile place and I exited the resturant through safety concerns. I struggle from severe anxiety and ended up having a panic attack. The restaurant then phoned me to tell me they'd be reporting me to the police for theft. No mention of apologise or was me and the children ok.... absolute disgrace of a resturant, definitely not what I'd consider family friendly! I have put a complaint in to beefeater! Let's see what happens next! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!

The old mill and water wheel is such a nice place, unfortunatly no money or maintenance has been spent on this charming water mill for over four years such a shame as it has a very relaxing decking at the rear on the stream.
Not enough staff even at quiet times in the bar and resturant.
The Premier inn is across the path is up to scratch, but hard to find on a first visit, down a small lane thats easy to miss.
Very large grassed area at the front with lots of benches thats pleasant when the weathers good.
If your willing to put up with poor service and a badly maintained pub its very relaxing.
Motorway is close by, but very little noise to be heard.
Personally i like its old charm, but them i am old school.

I was told by a member of staff that all Beefeaters are closing. To be honest, I'm not surprised – the food is better in some school canteens.
I had the Triple Roast. The roast potatoes tasted like cheap frozen shop-bought ones, and the turkey, gammon, and beef were all pre-sliced, cheap-looking, and tacky.
My kids had the chicken poppers and fish bites, which were dry and frankly disgusting.
My partner ordered a salad and found not one, but two hairs in it.
So farewell, Beefeater. I welcome whoever takes over, but please get it right. The standards here have been poor for a long time, and today's visit was the final straw.

I have been frequenting Moor Mill over the years since being a child. Absolutely lovely place especially in the summer. The new menu lacks a bit compared to the those of the past and the steak I order medium rare came medium well... The waiters were very apologetic and professional, we ended up with the price taken off the receipt. Wouldn't stop me going again as I've had so many great experiences here
