  Had a really enjoyable time at this pub. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive, especially Ellie! We had a fantastic service from her and would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

  A long, long time since I was last here and will definitely be back for more. The beetroot burger was the best I have had and they even had a grapefruit drink! Perfect! It was our fifteen year anniversary and as a nice touch, there was a sign on our table wishing us a happy anniversary. Lovely staff, put up with my wittering on too. Really, really nice!

  Visited with a friend yesterday, hadn't been here in ages The refurb it has just had done is lovely, everything looks fresh and clean whilst still being cosy The new menu is lovely has a great range to choose from, the food is fresh and generous portions We experienced really friendly, welcoming service, the new landlady Kate made as feel very welcome Food was good value and I will definitely be returning

  Dined at Builders Arms today, was very disappointed, lack of staff, food cold, miniscule portions, not a drop of cream in the place. Won't be going again

  Been here a few times,a lovely little gem,staff great so helpfull but seems since they no longer Mcmullan, there food is disappointing,seems less on the plate,the food we had was nice,but the plates swallowed the food for the price we payed we expected a decent portion,when was Mcmullan portion of food was worth the money,feel let down today,dont think we will go back for meals maybe a drink on our walks,
