  Unusually bad experience yesterday made worse by inability to find someone to tell it to! Our online Tesco delivery was cancelled yesterday and converted into a C&C order. We received a text about it at about 5pm. Order had been due at 10. We were told that if we wanted to come to the store to pick it up we could from now on. We duly got to the store around 6pm to find no order waiting for us. We waited 40 mins for the mystified C&C staff to tell us that there weren't enough drivers and customers were being asked to take their orders out of the back of the vans that had been already packed. He didn't know which van ours was in. We went home and were told that we could rebook the order as it had been cancelled. Unfortunately the store didn't cancel the order until 11pm so we missed all the next days slots and the rebooked order won't now arrive until Monday evening - a full 48 hours late not to mention thehour wasted in travelling to the store for no reason. I appreciate more than most that ops challenges are hard to get over but this was compounded by incompetence at several levels. I would value a conversation with a real person to take this forward and perhaps the Balldock store manager might review the sequence of events that lead to customers waiting on the C&C area for over an hour in some cases.

  Think they need to train there staff to be more courteous, Waiting in the que for the scan to pay, tesco employee just walks infront and scans her drink b4 I had chance to scan anything! Didn't apologise or anything

  come here all the time. it’s alright. got everything you need and has a good history, but starting to get annoyed. recently, many of the tills switched to self checkout, which is fine in theory, but it’s extremely annoying and slow if you’re going for a large shopping trip. even on sundays they refuse to put actual people on the tills, knowing it’s extremely busy and people are buying heaps of stuff. genuinely just annoying and ruins the whole experience as EVERY ITEM has to go on the scale before you scan the next. they don’t even have enough people to deal with the countless issues the scales have
