NO PETROL STATION. Google Maps said there was a petrol station, there is not. To the owner, can you please take this off somehow as it is very misleading and people make decisions based on it. We were lucky and ok to go to the next one ~20 miles later but others might not :)

Good selection of food, snacks and hot food. Unfortunately the staff that were working sunday morning 20th sept were very unfriendly, rude and disorganised, they seemed almost unable to get hot food ready and through the till in a timely fashion even though they both served one customer together, one at a time and seemed to struggle doing more than one task at a time. I watched as 3 young men, obviously well into their 30's with beards were challenged for id for alcohol. The gentlemen accepted they would not get their alcohol but the staff kept ranting at them in an argumentative tone. Almost telling the men off for not having ID one off whom was bald. I dont think these men have needed to show ID for quite a few years now. I felt embarrassed for these men, and when these men had left after purchasing there groceries the staff were looking at them in disgust and started talking about them. I didnt want to see or hear this negativity on a sunday morning. I caught up with the men and had a chat with them outside, they were very friendly, but felt degraded at the way the situation happend and said they will just have to get it else where. Im not sure i would like to put my business here, i will carry on to fortwilliam for now on (unless, maybe only in a pinch). Very disappointing!

Prices way more than other spar shops (fort Augustus for example), good luck finding bread or rolls - these seem to be once a week deliveries(?), hot food prices are eye watering and frequently way overcooked before they even lie in the hot shelf, beer and cider are other cross your fingers and hope items, and do check best buy / use by dates, been caught out there a few times lately and had to bin mouldy things the next day or two later. They get randomly busy, front line staff are consistently really good.
