  Very interesting visit to view and purchase local products. "Irresistible Strawberries" recommended by a kind local lady shopper, were really tasty. Also, there is an ATM outside that (finally) worked to withdraw cash for a debit card with Diners Club, Pulse, Discover, which are not accepted at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Bank of Scotland. The Co-Op in the Portree town does not have an ATM, unlike all the online info - verified with the store clerk.

  It's there if you need it but its expensive compared to the main land shops.

  Probably the best supermarket in the area. Wide range of items (but, when we were there, mint was out of stock). If you need groceries in the Portree area, this is your best bet.

  Not great, but I am from the US so my expectations may not be accurate. However, the reason for 1 star is the restroom/toilets. They were gross with overflowing trash everywhere. I came here 2 days in a row while in the area. I recognized trash (cans, diapers) in the toilet stall from the day before. Any place that deals with food should know the cleanliness of a restroom in the customer's mind reflects the hygiene in which food is handled. Unfortunately, this is the only supermarket in the area. Just gross!
