  We loved the fact this was an adults pub without loud music, machines or television. The beer was always excellent and it was a haven of good conversation and friendly company. We’re very sad to see it change into another run of the mill offering of style over substance ☹️

  Sadly the owners (Punch Taverns) have decided this place needs a "refit" and will be closed for a while while that takes place. Not sure what it will entail but it may risk losing this place's unique charm. Let's hope not! 🤞

  Lovely little local pub, very warm and welcoming, nice staff. Good selection of beers 🍻

  A nice selection of real ale, with a basic table & chair layout. Good for a chat but can get a bit loud when busy. Food smelled good and the quiz night is popular.
