  The ramen had a slightly floury taste, although the broth was quite tasty. The chicken was pretty bland and didn’t have much flavour. Overall, I’d say it was slightly above average. Also, they don’t seem to pay attention to special requests. I asked for an ingredient to be removed, but it was still included.

  Booked a table of 6 for a birthday meal. Drinks were ordered, but only 4 were given, had to chase on the other 2 which took another 10mins to come. Multiple asks for water, overall 3 glasses were given between 6 people. Food came out slowly, but lots of takeout food was being made and given to deliveroo drivers. Sides were given first with mains following slowly after. We sat down at 5.30pm and I didn’t receive my main at all. All other party members received their food. Our waiter didn’t check to see if all food had arrived. We had to chase him to see where my main was. I was told it’ll be with me in two minutes. 20 minutes no food still. I spoke with our waiter and explained I wouldn’t be paying for my meal. He completely understood and I asked to order some small dishes for quickness. These were placed at 7pm, I didn’t receive them until 7:25pm! I ordered prawn crackers with some curry sauce, bao buns and deep fried squid. The prawn crackers and sauce should have come within minutes, but were the last to be served. Overall terrible experience. We did speak to the manager, who provided us a discount to our meal and gift vouchers, as an apology. But overall I couldn’t believe how bad the whole experience was. Given two stars as we were compensated for the bad service. I would be very reluctant to come back anytime soon.

  Booked table good job we did was busy service was slow one item came out after we finished our other food and prices have gone up but the quality of the food wasn't great and few things not available to eat.

  We didn’t even get to order. They were clearly having a busy night but after being seated we proceeded to be ignored by all staff members for 25-30 minutes, not even being asked for a drinks order. When we saw the table next to us having drinks delivered and their food order taken, after they had been seated 10-15 minutes after us, we had had enough and left. Multiple tables around us were being cleared and reset rather than taking a moment to acknowledge us first, ultimately just a very disappointing experience.

  The staff were so lovely. I was served by Grace, and she was so helpful, and welcoming to talk to. She recommended me things, she maintained a fun attitude with me, and she also fulfilled all my requests, like giving me a pen and paper. She was a pro. I really value when staff spend some time being personable with you. She asked me how it all was like a normal server, but also when I made comments and jokes about the specific items, she made conversation with me. She told me the chili squid was a crowd favourite and it was so good! Literally would come back just for that and take it away. The sabu sabu duck was nice too, especially with soy sauce. I would like to try a different main next time, but I'm defo getting the squid again. The dessert was nice separately but I didn't love them together. The flavours were great though. It was the bao nut with miso caramel. It was my first time at Wagamamas, and my main server was great but even when I had to quickly pay so I could sort out parking, the other server was nice and made some conversation too. Maybe I'm just too likable for anyone to resist talking to me 😏 but really, if just the food was good, I wouldn't bother leaving a review but Grace made it great, and memorable.
