  The food was great and all, but I can’t help but feel a sense of dystopia. There is little to no interaction between workers and customers, and it feels like the chefs are basically locked away in an area. I fear this is the worst use of self order kiosks. I used to walk past and see how busy it was, now it feels sort of deserted.. of course that could have just been the time of day, but I still feel like it’s dystopian ordering from Tesco cafe. I hope this change is made at some point as I would love to feel a better connection.

  My hubby and I used to like this cafe. Food is good, staff are friendly and helpful, but they have decided to put in one of those screen ordering systems. You stand there, tired after shopping and have to wade through the menu instead of ordering from a friendly staff member who knows you because you visit regularly. I found the system very confusing. Why does it tell you to take a table number?We spent several minutes trying to find the numbers on the tables before discovering it means order number, the tables aren't numbered. I thought we had ordered and payed but after waiting for food and then enquiring I was told we didn't complete our order. I had scanned my cash card (or thought I had) where it said 'scan here'. I was told that was for my Tesco card. Why did the machine allow me to clip proceed and ask me to take a number if payment hadn't been completed? I am 79, have arthritis and the last thing I want when I am very tired from shopping is to stand in front of an inhuman screen trying to understand how to order. We may look for another cafe.

  No staff, so no atmosphere, NOT allowed to have milk you like😤 only allow to have milk what they say🥴 didn’t know this before hand, so will NOT be using this cafe again… 😦 P.S quick order but very very slow delivery and delivery was over different time frames. Food was cold, wasn’t allowed full cream milk but the leftover from yesterday ash browns was saturated in grease (fat) ! Orders done on Machine…

  Can't believe how busy this place was on a Sunday morning! Staff in the cafe were incredible friendly and helpful! Food always a good standard. Shame we don't love closer.

  Great tasting hot chocolate, unbelievably better than expensive but poor hot chocolate from coffee cart in town centre
