  Liam was the chef on breakfast we caught him walking past and asked for some poached eggs he even bought them down to us. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic.

  I arrived at my slotted time with a party of 15. We were very badly treated as there were other groups being seated while a staff member with no clue was fobbing me off. Eventually offered a table for 11 am that didn't fit our racing plans .We purchased a round of ales approx £80 plus what 15 brakfasts at £10.99 is a massive loss to take and they don't deserve any custom whatsoever. Absolutel'y appalling as I was contacted by the pub manager Tom on the Thursday confirming my booking.

  Disappointing food was dry, service was slow, no came back to check if our meals were ok or to take a drinks order.

  On arrival we had to go and find someone to seat us . Waitress was quite miffed we had interrupted her conversation.We had never been before but no one explained where everything was , so we had to find out for ourselves. Continental selection was fine . Hot food wasn’t too good . No sausages , fried eggs were dried and shrivelled up . Barely anything except tomatoes . So we had to ask for more hot food . It’s a shame as this was a treat for us as we were on our way to our holiday . My advise would be if your going for breakfast go before 9am.
