  Visited Winchester for my mum's birthday on Sunday on, what was at the time, the hottest day of the year (30 degrees). We had run out of water so popped by Tesco to get some more and to pick up some sweets as one of party is diabetic and had low sugar levels. However, the security and staff turned us and numerous other people away because some of their fridges were not working. They never explained the reason any further. They recommended going to Sainsbury's but it was a Sunday at 17:30 so all other shops were closed. The idea of refusing service to people on the hottest day of the year to get water because some fridges were not working is ridiculous. We ended up having to walk back to the car (30 minute walk) to drive to another Tesco to pick up bits which ended up cutting my mum's birthday celebrations short.

  Would just like to commend Natasha (apologies if I’ve got her name wrong!) for her brilliant customer service tonight. Incredibly friendly, helpful, and also very patient with my slow loading club card. You don’t see customer service like that very much these days so please thank her for an amazing job.

  Lauren is the best, give her a pay rise. Brilliant service and good job. Didn't take my nectar card though. 😼👍
