- TBTracey Buckle2 days ago5.0Have only been here a couple if times so far, but both times were excellent. The food is lovely. Staff very friendly and there is a large garden for the summer months. We ate in the Conservatory at the back. My only grumble was that it was a very hot day and the room was boiling, with only one fan. However it was during a heatwave.
- MLMaisie LettenAug 6, 20264.0Really lovely space, lovely different area depending on your vibe- it has a beer garden, cosy indoor pub area, a nice sit down dinning area (with the option to sit in the conservatory:) ) we did wait a long time for the food, however we did come at the end of the lunch time rush.. Our server Will was amazing and did look after us whilst we waited :) thank you

Also do some fab events (recently attended excellent cycling club social lunch and also thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic wreath making with mulled wine and mince pies last Christmas).

Staff inside were excellent too with plenty of lovely wine and ales on tap to choose from. Just glorious in the sunshine 🤩

The pub is Traditional and charming in every way. From the classic pub decor to the smell of cask ales. The menu was traditional pub food and there was a good Section on the kids menu. We sat in their lovely garden and watched the trains go by whilst we ate food and the children played with the dogs. It was a lovely evening. A massive thanks to.Chip and the team for the great service and making us feel very welcome. I thoroughly recommend this pub if you’re at the area.
