  It's a wetherspoons. It's got the same good value menu and choice of drinks as the other 'spoons. The car park is a bit small for the size of the pub and getting in early is recommended because it can get very busy. The staff very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed out drinks and meals.

  Somehow Wetherspoons have spent upwards of a million quid on refurbing this pub, and made it look like it's been open for years. Pub looked tired and it's only been open a week. Grim.

  Reliable part of the whitbread's chain, good choice and price for kids we were 3 adults and 4 & 8 year old, so great place to end the day in New forest before a 2 hour drive home to East Sussex.

  First time here, took advantage of the 25% blue light card discount. Staff were outstanding and very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and ill definitely be coming back
