  Pretty awful. Arrived late Sunday afternoon with a meal deal booked months ahead, to be told they no longer serve food in the evening! Premier Inn were supposed to notify us, but of course didn't, why would they as they had been sitting on our money for months! We were refunded part payment as they still served breakfast. Then it was our job to find somewhere to eat, not easy on a Sunday evening. Several phone calls later, all at our cost, we found a pub who would serve us if we came immediately. It was good but cost us twice as much as our refund. This is just such poor customer service although I have already done a feedback to Premier Inn asking for further compensation, needless to say there has been no response. On a positive we paid for a Premier Plus room that was nice, although the bed was very low. I have no idea why they think if you have mobility needs you would need a bed so low you need assistance to get up. Now here is the question, when paying extra for a better room why do they site it next to the laundry? All you can hear is the constant thumping of the tumble dryer. Come on Premier Inn, you are no longer Premier. You are part of Whitbread and their slogan used to be, " Good for me and good for you since 1742!" Not anymore only good for you as you take my money and don't give the service in return

  Very very slow service as too few staff , the 3 people there were doing everything from checking people in to cleaning tables, serving bar , serving food i wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't cooked it .

  Stopped in the hotel so had evening meal and breakfast in The Gateway. Food was good, my only criticism would be that the bacon was overcooked for me. The service from the waiter, Junior was excellent. He ensured everything was ok and double checked our order. I’ve been before when it was busy so made a reservation this time but it was quiet so not needed on this occasion. Would visit again.
