  I’ve been going to this shop for many years, I’ve got to know the staff well, they were happy, smiling, interacting with customers, making me and others feel welcome and I loved to shop here. It’s always been fun to shop there, a bit of banter here and there just really welcoming and fun. However it’s been noticed by me and several of my fellow customers how bad this shop has gone downhill drastically. The new manager the new staff are not what this shop needs. It’s changed for the worse. The original happy staff are now sad frustrated and seem generally unhappy. The floor is always dirty, the shelves always seem dirty and empty. There’s stock everywhere where it shouldn’t be. Those shutters outside are never up anymore. There’s bread and cages and those trolleys with stock on around the shop. The new lady is always shouting and running around and shouting at staff. The new lad looks miserable and never interacts and just looks like he doesn’t want to be there and the manager is never seen helping the staff out with putting stock out like I have seen with many other managers there do and also there seems to be very little staff about. Where’s all the staff gone? No wonder the staff that are there are sad and frustrated and yes I do talk to them and I’m aware of just how tired everyone is with the situation. Please sort it out Tesco get more staff in this shop and get those staff smiling again and get stock on those shelves, and sort your grubby shop out

  Being local to the area, I’ve shopped in this store for many years. I’ve always had a positive experience until the past few months. Credit to the staff that still serve with smiles on faces, but this shop has gone completely down hill. Shelves are rarely full, aisles are filled with stock and it is a complete and utter mess. I asked a young gent this week if he could kindly check to see if there was any eggs out back. To be told plain and simply no. He was very apologetic and advised he simply cannot even get through the door of the stock room. It is clear these people work extremely hard, but are fighting a losing battle. On this visit I even tried to buy a bottle of Modelo Lager and it turns out it was from a multipack and incorrectly chucked on the shelf. I now make the trip up to Witts Hill which in my opinion is ran much better.

  Shut from time to time during the evenings recently very boring for a local convenience store sort it out

  I’ve been shopping at this Tesco for a long time, but since new management came in, things have declined so so much. In the last few months, I’ve seen two newer staff members being rude—both to customers (including me) and even to other employees. They’ve been dismissive, haven’t apologised, and there’s a general disregard for customer care. I’ve also noticed disorganised stocking like crates left out, shelves not stocked, and price labels lazily placed. That said, I want to acknowledge the long-term employees who continue to do their absolute best and remain lovely humans despite all this chaos.
