Best Pizza 🍕 around Southampton
This papa johns is my go to pizza place and has been since it opened years ago, its had its ups and downs to the point where I ordered somewhere else for a few years as everytime it would take hours to show up and it would show up cold and incorrect. I've been ordering with them again for the past couple of years and yet again, they've started disappointing. Every. single. time. without failure they send out the wrong pizza, if you order a pizza that comes with BBQ drizzle, expect none. We call up every single time with the exact same complaint, no BBQ drizzle on my BBQ pizza. And everytime they just apologise and hope thats okay, and everytime we have to fight for them to either fix it or a discount. About 10 minutes ago my pizza arrived, buffalo drizzle this time. And as I sat the pizza down I said to my other half, bet theres no drizzle on the pizza. Guess what? No drizzle, called again, complained AGAIN. And I mean this has happened the last four times we've ordered from here. We told the lady on the phone our pizza has no drizzle, she apologised and just sat in silence, so again we had to force some sort of consolidation out of them. We're all sat down ready for movie night, a box of chicken and a box of garlic bread just sat waiting now for the correct pizza to show up, letting it go cold. Absolutely fed up with this place.
EDIT
We called 40 minutes ago for a replacement pizza and still nothing has arrived, they said they're just leaving now to come and deliver it. Absolute joke.
EDIT 2
Pizza has now arrived, can confirm we have the buffalo drizzle. Have now noticed the garlic pizza sticks we ordered are just garlic sticks so theres that too. Give it a couple months and there will be new owners, this papa johns get new owners how often this country gets a new prime minister.

Very disappointing experience at the Eastleigh Papa John’s.
I visited after seeing the advertised offer for a large pizza with one topping for £6.99. I ordered a large pizza with jalapeños and sweetcorn. Since the offer includes one topping, the second topping costs £1.70, so the total should have been £8.69.
What frustrated me was the lack of transparency and communication. The staff member made no effort to explain the pricing or the offer. If customers don’t carefully read every detail on the promotional board themselves, they could easily end up paying more than they expect. Clear pricing and honest communication should be standard.
The attitude of the staff member was poor from the moment I walked in. I wasn’t greeted, and the service felt abrupt and dismissive. The least I expect is professional service and accurate information about what I’m being charged.
For me, the bigger issue is not the pizza but the way customers are treated and how pricing is communicated. If an advertised deal is £6.99 plus £1.70 for an extra topping, customers should know exactly what they are paying without having to work it out themselves. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning to this branch.
Ordered 2 pizzas in store and collected them, brought then home they were undercooked and cold, considering I was there when they pulled them out I was expecting them to be hot when I got home which was less than a minute away, wasn't given a receipt so couldn't pursue a refund. Extremely disappointed
