  Avoid Deliveroo. Late (90 minutes), Luke warm and the icing on the cake missing large fries. Overall very disappointing (again).

  Had a delivery from them today. Normally pretty good standards and delicious burger turns out to be a nightmare because there was body hair found on the chips I ordered. Would you really have the rest of your meal if you know that they’ve been prepared in such unhygienic environments??? This is really disgusting and Deliveroo said they couldn’t help and suggested me to leave a comment

  Absolutely appalling experience at Five Guys Westquay today. I ordered a burger and chips and specifically avoided mushrooms because I am allergic to them. Despite this, I was served a burger containing mushrooms. Thankfully I checked the burger before taking a bite, otherwise the consequences could have been far more serious. What made the situation even worse was the response from the manager, Sam Read. When I raised what was a potentially serious allergen incident, he appeared to treat the matter as a joke. Throughout the conversation he had a smirk on his face, showed no genuine concern or apology, and repeatedly called me “boss” even after I politely asked him to stop. I was also told there was effectively nothing I could do to complain, which is an astonishing response to a customer who has just been served food containing an ingredient they deliberately avoided because of an allergy. This incident raises serious concerns about food safety standards, allergen controls, staff training, and customer care. The fact that I had to discover the mistake myself before eating the food is deeply worrying. UPDATE; five guys head office have been dismissive of the actual issue. They have been rude and hostile because they know the actions they of their restaurant has been wrong and they are trying to close it down. Foods agency has been contacted as have my solicitors. Hygiene issues were also seen here.

  I’ve visited your restaurant many times, and the food has always been delicious. I never regret coming here, and I’ll definitely come back again. The burgers are consistently fresh and tasty, the fries are amazing, and the portions are always generous. However, I have to mention one thing honestly: if you decide to eat inside the restaurant, the experience can be a bit disappointing. The dining area is often not very clean — tables can be sticky and messy, which affects the overall atmosphere. Still, the quality of the food keeps me coming back every time. I hope the cleanliness inside improves, because Five Guys truly has some of the best burgers and fries around.
