  Came in without a booking tonight on the off chance as they had loads of spare bookings online (we checked prior). To be told it was a 51 minute wait for a table. Fine not the end of the world, however I could have booked a table for 6 minutes time right in front of him online didn't make a difference though. Obviously didn't want the business, won't bother returning, not a fan of lying or misleading practices. Shame as the food is normally pretty Ok for a midweek meal.

  This was an "ok" experience. We went for the recommended steak and red wine pairing, the chateaubriand for 2...the steak was tasty and cooked well but the size of the dish for the price could have been far more generous. In addition, the wine paired with the steak was a very poor choice, too light and actually much better for fish and white meat. When we asked the staff for alternative wines they were clueless. Not saying you need to be a wine expert (Im not) but the basics would be helpful! Didn't leave blown away and probably wouldn't go back...shame as my friend literally lives around the corner.

  £40 for a beer and an 8oz sirloin. Asked for rare, got well done. Cheese sauce was just crumbled cheese. Cold bowl or fries. Mayo tasted of foreign substance. Haven’t found a worse place to eat in Portsmouth… yet.

  A newish place at the bottom of Queens Street. All new, clean and tidy inside. The staff were very friendly and polite. Menu gives a good coverage of dishes. The food was good, came out quite quickly and was hot. The popcorn that you get with your drinks is amazing, it's worth going just for that 😁 They have a lunch time offer, steak and chips. Parking is on street or local carparks, which are payable. Quite a few busses go past to go to the Hard Interchange. Well worth a visit.
