My partner and I, at 8:24, ordered a small cheese pizza for collection in the store. We were told to wait for 15 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, we checked up on our order and asked how much longer. Upon asking, I got a blank stare back from the employee named Connie and was told another 10 to 15 minutes. We obliged and waited, as we understood it could be busy on a Saturday. After the 15 minutes, we checked on our order and were told just 10 more minutes with no guarantee. After the 10 minutes, I asked if our order was ready, to which I was told it wasn't. I then proceeded to ask for a refund, as soon as I said the word refund, the woman named Connie said "NO" and then proceeded to look through the pizzas next to her under the lamp light, where she found our order, which had been sitting there for an hour. I still asked for a refund, to which I got a smile back and a giggle, and we proceeded to walk away dissatisfied with the lack of apology and lack of care. Once we opened the pizza, it was dry and lukewarm; the cheese on top was even crispy. What was meant to be a quick detour consumed our evening. We got our pizzas at 9:30.
We couldn't handle the rudeness, the lack of care, and the lack of apology. I'm not expecting the world from these employees, but I was already expecting a little human care. We will not be visiting again, and I discourage others, as they prioritize online orders over in-store customers.
