  The food and drink is good. However i've just this minute returned from Esquires on my break. I ordered a tuna melt toastie and a chocolate fudge cake to take away. I waited 10 minutes for the toastie to be warmed. The lady who was cooking my toastie proceeded to take her hair out of the bun it was in, then ran her hands through her hair over and over, then put her hair back up in the bun. She the directly got my toastie out of the oven, put it on a plate as if I was having it in the Cafe, she then without washing her hands picked up my toastie (and salad!!) and put it in a box. I watched the whole thing and she did not wash her hands once. This is awful hygiene practice and i really don't feel like eating my toastie now you've had your hands running through your hair. I did not ask for it to be replaced as i could not wait another 10 minutes for one to be made. So most of the toastie went in the bin sadly. I won't be returning despite the nice food. Sad as the staff are nice and it's a nice atmosphere.

  Really nice pineapple and passion fruit smoothie 5.50 bit heavy maybe do for 4.50 but still really nice and my dog even got a pup cup such a great touch

  First visit to this new venue in town: a nice refit of a former coffee house & they even have some real plants in there as well. Now, down to the review — mmm. English Breakfast tea : the blend selected is a bit bland, though I do prefer Twinings Strong English Breakfast. During my visit, I ordered Eggs Benedict for the first time. The ham was thick but generic & wet, with not much taste. The eggs were a little bit 'dishevelled', and the Hollandaise sauce had a strong flavour of vinegar. Sorry, but it’s not for me. Making that sauce is tricky — I get that — but it does need refining. I wish them well, though.

  Ordered pesto chicken sandwich, cinnamon vanilla latte and a chocolate milkshake. The drinks we really good. The taste of the sandwich was average. I didn’t really enjoy the chicken as it had a different taste. Would go back for drinks only.
