  Nice food! very nice restaurant but the servers are miserable as anything, especially the hostess, just makes you uncomfortable to be there to be frank, I get work can be dry but it’s important to maintain a friendly demeanour as staff ❤️

  Jamie at Wagamama Whiteley deserves a shoutout. We somehow managed to get the only undercooked chilli squid in Hampshire, but he sorted it straight away and had us laughing so much we genuinely didn’t care. Zero awkwardness, just good vibes and top-tier banter. Super attentive without hovering, really easy to chat to, and just made the whole meal better. Also, if you’ve seen Italian Bach on TikTok… Jamie is giving exactly that energy. 10/10. Protect Jamie at all costs.

  Terrible, duck was overcooked, gyozas undercooked and was missing seasoning, Salisbury Wagamama is far better.

  This restaurant was indeed very busy and therefore popular. The reason for our overall rating really relates to the value for money aspect. The staff are extremely pleasant and work very hard, but another aspect of the cost is adding a service charge. I can never understand why service charge ( tip?) has to be added separately. I've never tipped a bus driver, nor a shop keeper for serving me as I've always thought they're doing the job and getting a salary. I'm not suggesting for a moment that they don't deserve it, but with the already high cost of the food and indeed, the soft drinks, it will be difficult for me to justify revisiting.
