  Incredibly frustrating and rigid experience at Tesco Fareham. I tried to purchase 2 boxes of paracetamol in a completely separate transaction. The cashier refused because the person I arrived with had already bought painkillers in his own shopping. To make matters worse, I even went to a completely different checkout to pay in cash, but I was still refused. According to MHRA guidelines, the 2-box restriction is per individual transaction. In France, where I am from, paracetamol must be bought in a pharmacy without a prescription and costs much more, so I am well aware of medicine safety. Refusing a completely separate cash purchase at another till feels like unnecessary policing rather than actual safety compliance. Staff at this branch need better training on how to handle separate customers professionally."

  Very helpful staff. Could have a few more NON-Self serve tills open. Last visit only one with large qué of those with trollies. Bit poor. But mostly good service and great parking below the store.

  I’ve just had the worse customer experience by a staff member I think by the name called Jo she was absolutely rude to me on the self checkout never have I experienced such dire customer service avoid this Tesco at all costs absolutely shocking behaviour. I expect better from this brand.
