  I had an unpleasant experience at the self-checkout today. The staff member (Chinese lady) working there was very rude to me. She told me not to use the hand scanner, saying it was “not supposed to be used.” In front of other customer, However, there was no sign or notice indicating that customers should not use it. If the hand scanner is not available for customer use, there should be clear signage explaining this. Instead of politely informing me, the staff member spoke to me in a rude and discourteous manner, which I found unacceptable. I would appreciate it if you could remind staff to communicate with customers respectfully and ensure that clear instructions are displayed to avoid similar situations in the future.
