We had the gammon steak and fish and chips respectively, both perfectly cooked, and they were not small portions by any means, enough for us anyway. The deal included a drink so we had a pint of cider and a glass of wine. A great way to get people in for what might be an otherwise quiet lunch service. Service from the young waiting staff was friendly and efficient too. Such an attractive village pub, I do hope the locals use it.
