The mash was good but the sausage was slightly tasteless; perhaps it might be worth sourcing the sausages locally? Our granddaughter had a burger which initially was overcooked but it was replaced immediately by a very good one - and not charged for. A nice touch. It was our first experience of eating at the Barley Mow and we enjoyed it. We will be back.

The service was really quick, and she always made sure we had everything we needed, all while having a lovely smile on her face. The food was amazing too — everything was delicious and we all really enjoyed it. We’d definitely recommend coming here and will happily come back again! 😊
