  I am a regular Tesco customer and have been shopping here for the last 7 years, visiting almost every day for groceries and other household items. Recently, I visited Tesco Aldershot to exchange a shirt that I had purchased just 2 days earlier. The shirt was in the same condition as when I bought it, but the staff member at the exchange/returns desk declined the exchange, stating that it was not in good condition. While I respect that stores have policies and understand that exchanges can sometimes be refused, what disappointed me most was the way I was treated. The staff member’s behaviour was very rude and unprofessional, especially as it happened in front of other customers. It wasn’t the refusal itself that upset me,it was the lack of courtesy and respect. As a loyal customer of many years, I expected better customer service. There are many places where people can choose to shop, and customer experience plays a big role in that choice. I hope Tesco Aldershot addresses this issue and reminds staff of the importance of treating customers respectfully, even when a request cannot be accommodated.

  One of the worker was rude and blamed me I jumped the queue on self service till wheras I clearly queued there for my turn. There was no bar in the middle so I thought it was all same I didn’t know there was 2 queue one from the right and 1 from the left. I was in queue on the right side. It was my 1st visit there and it’s going to be last.

  I've finally had enough of this Tesco Café. For a long time now, I've been complaining about the quality of the sourdough bread being served here. This isn't a one-off issue. I've complained to staff, I've complained to Head Office, and on a previous visit I even sent my plate back to the kitchen and asked them to try cutting the bread themselves because it was so tough. Today, exactly the same thing happened again. The sourdough was so hard and tough that I could barely cut it with the knife provided and couldn't tear it by hand. I called the manager over and asked him to cut the bread himself so he could see what I was talking about. He refused. Instead of apologising, offering a replacement, or investigating the issue, he simply insisted that the bread was fresh and repeatedly contradicted me. What annoyed me most wasn't even the bread. It was the attitude. Any decent manager would have said, "I'm sorry, let's replace that for you and I'll speak to the kitchen." Instead, I was made to feel as though I didn't know what I was talking about. I've eaten enough sourdough bread in my life to know the difference between fresh bread and bread that's gone tough and stale. Toasting bread can make it crispy, but it should not be so hard that it can't be properly cut or torn apart. The overall food quality at this café has gone downhill, and after repeatedly raising the same issue and being ignored, I won't be returning. Very disappointing customer service and poor food quality.
